The technique

In 2025 Inktrance licensed the first sedation room in a tattoo studio in Spain. Sedation removes the perception of pain during the session. Your body stays relaxed and monitored while the tattoo advances, free of the breaks, tension and fatigue that a traditional large-scale sitting imposes. It is what makes closing a full back, a sleeve or a chest in a single appointment realistic.

Miguel Bohigues.
A specialist in large-scale realism, Miguel builds dense compositions — religious, mythological, portrait-based — designed to cover full backs and entire bodies. His work is recognised for its contrast, photographic detail and a narrative that simply does not fit into one short session.
Inktrance exists to remove that limit: to bring sessions of that scale into reach, under sedation and with professional monitoring at every appointment.

Session under sedation
The tattoo session is carried out under the supervision of an anaesthetist who practises at a hospital in Valencia and of a nurse, with continuous monitoring of all vital signs throughout the procedure, from start to finish.
Aftercare
We follow up the healing process over the days after the session and provide care guidelines tailored to each client, to support a proper recovery, minimise discomfort while it heals and achieve the best possible aesthetic result.
